Background & Rationale:
|
The federal eRate program allows the district to request funds for specific network hardware and support. This is an annual cost already occurred by the district. In effort to receive funding allocation, the District released a request for proposal for maintenance on battery backup units at RSECC. No vendors responded to the RFP, therefore the district solicited bids on the open market according to eRate guidelines. The district had three (3) vendors return quotes. SHI returned the lowest quote for $39,046.66.
