Background & Rationale:
|
We will keep middle school Chromebooks at the buildings starting in the 2019-2020 school year. We have found that middle school students do not regularly bring their Chromebooks to school fully charged if they bring them at all. This has proven to have a negative influence on instruction. Students will get their Chromebook at the beginning of the day, keep it with them through the day and then return it at the end of the day to charge over night. We will let 8th grade students take them home starting their second semester so they can start building the habits they will need for high school.
