Background & Rationale:
|
The audio and presentation systems in both the Admin Board room and the RSECC large conference room are outdated and failing. The district released an RFB for both rooms with 2 options per room. Two vendors returned bids. KCAV provided the lowest, best bid on all four options. The district would like to use components of each of the options to provide the best solution for the rooms. Combining the two options for each room will result in a cost of approximately $25,000 for the Board room and $20,000 for the large conference room. Including a contingency for unexpected needs, the district has budgeted $50,000 for the projects.
