Background & Rationale: The district has achieved 1 to 1 in grades 2-12 and will purchase new devices for grades 4, 6 and 9 for the 2018-2019 school year. The district will purchase Lenovo n23 Chromebooks for 4th & 6th grade and Lenovo 11e Windows laptops for 9th grade. In addition, teacher laptops and a combination of additional laptop and desktop models will be purchased throughout this and next fiscal year to meet staff needs. Additional purchases will be brought to the Board in accordance to policy.

A bid was released on Feb 23 and 2 vendors responded. RTI responded with options for Dell models. Although CDWG returned the only other bid, pricing for the current year models is in line with last year's awarded bid. Verification from the manufacturer's representative confirmed fair pricing.

The Board is asked to award the bid to CDWG for purchases of all listed Lenovo models through March 2019, with the initial purchase of $704,630.00.
Budget to be Charged: Technology
Motion: I move that the Board approve CDWG for the purchase of Lenovo laptops through 2018 with an initial purchase of $704,630.00.
