Support the implementation of the approved two-year technology plan for effective classroom delivery including the use of virtual technology and social networking.

Background & Rationale: In order to continue to support the district 1 to 1 initiative, 700 high school student devices (11e Windows laptops) and 100 Chromebooks are needed. In addition, 20 staff laptops are needed for aging/broken machines. A request for bid was released and 2 vendors responded. CDWG provided the lowest bid.

The Board is asked to award the bid to CDWG for purchases of all listed Lenovo models through March 2019, with the initial purchase of 700 student 11e machines, 100 student Chromebooks with licensing and 20 L480 staff laptops for a total of $470,282.20.
Budget to be Charged: Technology
Motion: I move that the Board approve CDWG for the purchase of listed Lenovo models through June 2020 with an initial purchase of $470,282.20.
