Background & Rationale:
|
Pursuant to Section 170.048, RSMo, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) developed a model New state regulations require Missouri districts to develop a policy regarding youth suicide awareness and prevention including training for district employees. The Raytown School District will be implementing the Signs of Suicide Curriculum (SOS) at all secondary buildings beginning the week of January 14, 2019.
