Background & Rationale:
|
The federal eRate program allows the district to request funds for specific network hardware and support. In effort to receive funding allocation, the District released a request for proposal for maintenance on district switches. This is an annual cost already occurred by the district. Only one vendor responded, Yellow Dog Networks for a total of $76,511.26. $70,458.26 is eligible for eRate reimbursement, up to 80% if approved. $6,053.00 is not eligible for eRate.
