New this year, The District partnered with Smile, It’s Healthy to provide initial dental screenings for students at all elementary schools which will involve cleaning, x-rays and sealants. If needed, Smile, It's Healthy also completed more advanced dental work with parent permission. The also partnered with Advanced Eye Care in Raytown to provide free eye exams to our elementary students. Students also had the opportunity to receive a free pair of glasses in addition to the exam if needed. We are thankful for the partnerships with local organizations that allow us to provide the necessary resources to promote student health and well-being.
