Background & Rationale:
|
Per Board Policy and E-Rate regulations, in December 2013 the District sought bids for District POTS (plain old telephone service) lines which provide 911, emergency back-up phones and alarm lines. The District awarded AT&T the contract for POTS service for an annual amount of $55,000.
Per the RFP: The initial master service agreement will be awarded to the selected provider with a one-year base from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, with the option to renew annually through the July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 contract year.
It is recommended that the District remain with AT&T for POTS line service for the 2018-2019 school year.
