|
For years school safety has been a priority for school board members. That is why MSBA created the Center for Education Safety. Now legislators are also focusing on this issue. In fact, the Governor has made it a priority this year. But school safety is complicated! It involves everything from building security, mental health resources, anti-bullying campaigns, first responders, cybersecurity and more.
MSBA is interested in your school board's perspective.
Other than providing school districts more money, what can or should the local, state or federal government(s) do to improve the safety of your students?
