Raytown School District students in the Great Expectations Before and After School Care No Sew Club made baby blankets for Newborns in Need KC, an organization that helps newborns and their families in the metro. Since the beginning of the school year, students have made more than 50 blankets. Raytown South High alum and Raytown Schools Hall of Fame member Catherine Linney started the Kansas City Chapter Newborns in Need Chapter in 2006. |
